Treasured Scrapbooking monthly scrapbook and card kits

Treasured Scrapbooking

Monthly Kits and Much More

The new Design team for the next term was chosen and announced a few days ago on the board:

Per Erin ( the owner of TS)

The new Design Team is going to have some exciting changes! First of all, I had an amazing amount of international applicants, so I've decided to create an International Design Team! They are really just part of the regular design team, but it's sometimes fun to capitalize things. You'll notice that some of the reveal dates will change a little, but other than that, things will mostly remain the same.

I've also added a second card designer! Now the card kits will come with instructions for four cards total, and also have a couple of examples of layouts and other projects done with the card kit! I am super excited about this, because I know that there are plenty of leftovers each month to come up with other things to make!

I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who applied, I know how difficult it is to put yourself out there, and I was so inspired by everyone's work! I am so proud to call you all my scrappy buddies!

I would also like to thank the amazing Design Team I've had this past term, you guys were great through the huge learning curve I've dealt with as a new store owner who was pretty much clueless and a lot of the time and busy the rest of the time! LOL. Thank you so much for all your hard work and friendship!

But, without further ado and sappiness, I know you want to know who made the team!

(drumroll, please)

Good morning scrappers!!

From the time I saw the new Pink Paislee cork embellishments, I knew I wanted to figure out how to make my own. I was perusing some store - I cannot remember where - and I ran across a roll of cork contact paper. I knew I was going to use it for scrapping one day. I think it might have been at Target or Walgreens. Anyway...I received some new punched the other week and thought - now is the time to figure out how to incorporate that cork!

I pulled out my new punches and the cork and got busy. It was tricky loading the cork sheet in the punch, but I found going slowly allowed the cork to wiggle into the punch.

After punching out the shape, I used some buttons and bling to dress them up!

Taking it one step further...I stamped on the cork, cut it out, colored a little with my Copics and added the bling!

Added bonus! These are sneak peeks of my June 15th reveal layouts!!

I did a layout using a mask with the sprays:

From Shelly: Summer/Sunshine Song Title Challenge
I love songs about summer. When certain songs come on the radio, I open the windows and the sunroof and sing at the top of my lungs. My challenge to you is to use a song with the word sunshine or summer as your layout title (or card sentiment for you card makers!) To help you out, I have compiled a list of my favorite summer songs – use one of these or one of your own favorites.

Upload your layout to the the Splash into Summer Crop catagory in the gallery and then link it back to this thread!

I love going through the gallery to see how our members use their scrap products...
To read the stories their pages are telling...
To gain inspiration from a title or how they incorporated an element into their layout...
It all gets my creativity flowing and yearning to scrapbook. Needless to say, since the DT calls went out, we've been blessed with many new faces on the forum AND in the gallery. I'd like to take a moment and share some inspiration with you today.

Every month the treasured design team comes up with new challenges. Then at the end of the month winners are picked and goodies are mailed out.

This month my challenge is “alphlicious.”
So get your alphas out and turn them into some thing “licious”. Do something to them…draw on them, color them, cut them out, “stickle” them. You name it! If you can think of it, you can do it. this month, for the word “sisterly” I took the 7 gypsies rub-on alphas, put them on colored paper, cut out and the stickled them. For the word “love” I applied it to the patterned paper and the added diamond glaze. So go crazy with your alphas this month and show us what you come up with. Try something new or share a tried and tested technique…we want to see it:)

The other challenges are amazing too. Make sure to check them out.

Shelly’s June challenge: Tell me a story.

Leah’s June challenge: Time to make the donuts.

Eva's June challenge: Frame it up!

Julie's June Challenge - Sew Simple

Lisa’s June Challenge: Texture challenge.
Have fun playing along:)
